L'Apothicaire™, a Colorado-based company and a subsidary of Colorado Organics, LLC. We strive to keep our products as natural as possible. We use organic ingredients whenever possible. Most of our ingredients are "bio-based", meaning derived from agricultural products such as jojoba oil and shea butter. We also like to use local products such as goat's milk from a local farmer and beeswax from a nearby company.
With all of the L'Apothicaire™ products, special care is made to ensure that each product is designed to enhance your everyday experience. Every one of our products are hand-made and blended. Because of the unique nature of our old-fashioned process of combining essential oils and botanicals, please expect slight variations in color, texture, and shape.
We do not test our products on animals, only our friends and family (willing victims).
Our short term and long term goals include going "green" wherever possible. We recently implented in-house composting. We are offering recycling to our wholesale customers and hope to expand that program.
We have also just received our first batches of phthalate-free fragrance oils. For more information on phthalates, please refer to the Environmental Working Group's website.
Our soap boxes are being custom made just for us with 100% post consumer recycled materials. We will soon be getting the rest of our packaging made in the same way.
